COVID and rain clouds loom over Muster

The Weddin Mountain Muster Committee members would like to extend their well wishes to Muster participants affected by the current COVID lockdowns and restrictions. The Committee understands that this is a stressful time for all and, with so much excitement surrounding the 2021 WMM event, are deeply saddened that the Muster may again be impacted.

The Committee are closely monitoring the situation to ensure that they can effectively meet COVID-19 health regulations while retaining the integrity of the event and safety of the wider community. The Weddin Mountain Muster Committee will make a decision regarding the event (running from the 19-24th September 2021) at their next meeting on the 17th of August. 

Additionally, the Committee are also watching the weather forecast very closely and trying to predict the impact more rain will have on the riding trails. Keeping a positive relationship with participating landholders is essential to the success of the event and the Committee will not allow that to be compromised.

At this stage it is still all systems go with preparations for the 2021 Weddin Mountain Muster in full swing. Many hours are being spent on analysing and revising aspects of the event to ensure the Muster will be COVID safe. Any further information will be emailed directly to participants and posted on the Weddin Mountain Muster webpage and social media. 

Plans for the 2021 Weddin Mountain Muster are still going ahead, with the Committee keeping a close eye on the looming rain and COVID clouds.

For the 2021 Weddin Mountain Muster to go ahead, strict COVID safe measures will be in place but the Committee will not compromise the integrity of the event or the safety of the riders and the wider community.
