Weddin Mountain Muster musters up funds to support local youth

13 December 2019 - Media Release

The Country Education Foundation (CEF) Grenfell Branch were the lucky recipients of the Weddin Mountain Muster's 2019 fundraising.

Fundraising for a different local charity or organisation is carried out each year as part of the Muster by a small dedicated group known as the Paint Girls, with donations from participants at the Muster. A small portion of the profits from the Weddin Mountain Muster also goes towards the chosen cause.

CEF is a national not-for-profit organisation helping rural and regional youth access education, training and jobs through grants, scholarships, support services and resources.

This year, the fundraising efforts from the Weddin Mountain Muster raised over $2,000. Chairman of the CEF Grenfell Branch, Peter Spedding, said he was thankful to all involved.

Weddin Mountain Muster Committee President, Don Robinson, presents the cheque for over $2,000 to the Country Education Foundation (CEF) Grenfell Branch.
